Belles

americana · roots

Belles is a country singer-songwriter from Omaha, Nebraska, who now lives in Nashville and records under her surname. Her writing looks back to the genre's mid-century era, with Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton as stated touchstones, set against a more contemporary production style. She built an audience online beginning in 2018, and her breakout single Crazy As Me reached number three on the iTunes country chart in 2025, drew tens of millions of social video views, and gave its name to a headlining tour. She has won a Rocky Mountain CMA award for female vocalist. In 2026 she released Son of Jolene, a character-driven sequel to Parton's Jolene written from the perspective of a chance meeting with Jolene's grown son years later; Parton, who called the premise clever, sings on the recording. The single arrived in April 2026 ahead of Belles' debut full-length album, released through East Music Row Records with publishing through Deluge Music. She spent the summer of 2026 on a twenty-four-city headlining run billed as the Songs and Stories Tour, which opened in Bell Buckle, Tennessee, on May 1 and worked through listening rooms, wineries and small clubs across the country.
