Jimmy Fortune

Jimmy Fortune is a country singer born in 1955 in Williamsburg, Virginia, who sang tenor with The Statler Brothers from 1982 until the group retired in 2002. He wrote several of their hits, including Elizabeth, My Only Love and Too Much on My Heart, and co-wrote More Than a Name on a Wall. His solo work includes the 2015 album Hits & Hymns, and in 2020 he co-founded the group Brothers of the Heart.
