Zandi Holup

americana · folk · roots

Zandi Holup is a folk and country singer-songwriter signed to Big Loud Records. She built an early following by posting demos and unfinished song fragments online, and those clips led to her record deal. Her writing sits in the traditional singer-songwriter line she names as formative, citing Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Dolly Parton, and it favors plain narrative detail and unadorned vocal delivery over studio polish. She recorded her debut album, Wildflower, across roughly a month at Bear Creek Studios in northwest Washington with producer Ryan Hadlock, whose credits include Zach Bryan, Brandi Carlile, The Lumineers and Wyatt Flores. Songs released from the project include Gas Station Flowers, Wait For You, Go Find Less and Mary Jane, and a version of the title track appears among her videos as Wildflower (Pickin' in the Meadow); the album is also sold direct from her site as a signed LP. Her live sets carry material beyond the released catalog, with recent shows adding Damsel in a Dive Bar and Preacher's Daughter. Holup has opened for Steve Earle, Amanda Shires and Midland. Her 2026 touring runs on both sides of the Atlantic, mixing North American club and theater dates with European shows including Mojo Blues Bar in Copenhagen and an appearance at The Long Road Festival in the United Kingdom. Management and booking are handled directly through her own site rather than through a listed agency.
