John Foster is a neo-traditional country singer from Addis, Louisiana, who was runner-up on the twenty-third season of American Idol. He sings in a baritone voice drawing on 1980s and 1990s country, made his Grand Ole Opry debut in June 2025, and has since returned as a recurring guest.
