EDITH is an emo and punk band from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2023 and drawing on midwest emo, indie rock and post-hardcore. Its three members all sing, trading and overlapping vocal lines across a song, a device the band treats as a signature; guitarist and vocalist Evan is its most publicly identified member. The group issued a set of early recordings as Early Demos, followed by the single Vanguard, the two-song release Same Team / Fascination Street in June 2024 and Adorn in April 2024. Its debut EP, I'm Drowning But I Know I Dreamt It, arrived on December 3, 2024 and runs five tracks: Not Running, Among The Spiders, Strongsville, Dream Sequence and Sanctuary. Taylor Hahn recorded, produced and mixed the EP and Kris Crummett mastered it. Evan has described Among The Spiders as the song that set the direction for the band's later writing, built around anxiety, isolation and how people see themselves against their own social circle. Subsequent singles include Sounds Of Scenery, Salt, Coward and Second Skin. The band plays Denver club and DIY bills, including Globe Hall and Bar 404.
