Wim Tapley is an Athens, Georgia songwriter who has fronted his live band The Cannons since moving to the city in 2021, after coming up playing venues around Washington, D.C. The music is rooted in Americana with pop, neo-soul and horn arrangements, and the band has played rooms including the 9:30 Club, Eddie's Attic and the Georgia Theatre.
