Wild Colonial Bhoys

The Wild Colonial Bhoys are a Minnesota-based Irish-American Celtic rock band that has been performing for more than twenty years, starting as an acoustic duo before expanding to a full electric band. The current lineup is Adam Coolong, Cole Mickelson, Andy Schuster, Pete James Johnson and fiddler Sammy James, the most recent addition, who brings classical training, Irish and Americana playing and vocal harmonies to the group. To mark its twentieth anniversary the band rerecorded its early acoustic EP Graffiti On the Wall as full-band arrangements. Its catalogue also includes the releases Irish in America, Century, On Our Own, Heads or Tails, Friday Night Live and the live album What's It to Ya, plus the single A New Day's Coming featuring Kerri Joy. The group works a regional Upper Midwest circuit of festivals, bars, community concert series and private events, including outdoor summer bills such as Levitt at the Falls in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and its shows are built around the up-tempo end of the Celtic rock repertoire.
