Vern McIntyre's Appalachian Grass

Vernon McIntyre's Appalachian Grass is a five-piece bluegrass band established in Cincinnati, Ohio in the 1960s and led by Vernon McIntyre, who began playing professionally at 15 with Earl Taylor and the Stoney Mountain Boys. The lineup also features Kitty McIntyre on fiddle, Robert Campbell on banjo, Susan Shook on mandolin and Tammy Powers on upright bass, and the band won the 1998 CAMMY award for best bluegrass band in the Cincinnati area.
