Tiffany Day

Tiffany Day is an American singer and songwriter, born in 2000 in Toronto to Chinese parents and raised in Wichita, Kansas. She was trained on piano and violin as a child and made her first song in GarageBand at ten. She began posting covers to YouTube in 2015 and taught herself guitar and bedroom recording; a 2017 video of her singing Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah into a well in Spoleto, Italy, on a school choir trip spread widely on social media and convinced her to pursue music seriously. She enrolled at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, studying communications, and began releasing her own material, starting with the EP Overdramatic in 2020 and continuing through a run of themed EPs, The Recovery Project and The Dependency Project in 2021, The Renewal Project in 2022 and The Gratitude Project in 2023. She self-funded and self-produced the 2023 Gratitude Tour after parting with her management, initially going into debt on ticket sales before recouping through merchandise; a short documentary about the tour won an audience award at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival. Her first album, Lover Tofu Fruit, arrived in September 2024 and drew on the death of her grandfather, and a supporting tour followed in 2025. Her music has since moved from indie and bedroom pop toward hyperpop and heavier electronic production across singles including Pretty4U, American Girl and Same LA. Halo, released in April 2026 through Broke Records, consolidates that shift, and she supported Aries on the North American leg of his Glass Jaw World Tour that year. Day sings and plays guitar, keyboards, violin, ukulele and turntables, and has spoken publicly about growing up as one of few Asian students at her school and about living with obsessive-compulsive disorder.
