Thunderwood is an American bluegrass, jamgrass, and Appalachian roots-rock band based in Lexington, Kentucky. Blending traditional Kentucky bluegrass picking with rock 'n' roll sensibilities and improvisational jams, Thunderwood is an active fixture of the central Kentucky roots scene, performing across Lexington listening rooms and outdoor festivals including The Burl's annual Burl County Fair.
