The Way Down Wanderers are an Americana and bluegrass band from Peoria, Illinois, formed in 2014 by Austin Krause-Thompson and Collin Krause. The current lineup adds Travis Kowalsky on banjo, fiddle and mandolin, Sammy Hinrichsen on guitar, Sam Peters on bass and John Merikoski on drums. Their releases include the 2024 album We Made a Mess in Middle America.
