The Violet Pines

The Violet Pines is a four-piece rock band from Grand Junction, Colorado, on the state's Western Slope, drawing on alternative, blues, folk, funk and western influences. The group describes itself as bringing the heat of the high desert to the stage, and builds its sets around groove-led arrangements aimed at getting an audience moving. It released its debut track, Sustain, on 18 July 2024, self-issued through Bandcamp, and has since played Colorado rooms including Cervantes' Other Side in Denver.
