The Plate Scrapers are a progressive bluegrass band formed in 2014 in western Maryland and based in Frederick, featuring Derek Kretzer on banjo, Andrew Jordan on guitar, Jody Mosser on dobro and mandolin, Robbie Mann on fiddle and Kevin Johnson on bass. Their albums include Contact (2015), Dishes (2017), Destination Horizon (2020) and Artifacts (2024).
