the Music School Festival Orchestra

The Music School Festival Orchestra is the student orchestra of the Chautauqua Institution's summer season in western New York, drawing conservatory and university musicians from the United States and abroad. Led by artistic director Timothy Muffitt, it performs at the Chautauqua Amphitheater and collaborates with the institution's other programs, including the School of Dance.
