the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra

The Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra is the resident summer orchestra of the Chautauqua Institution in western New York, founded in 1929 and drawn largely from professional US orchestras. It performs across a nine-week summer season in the Institution's Amphitheater and also accompanies opera and ballet productions. Rossen Milanov has been its music director since 2015.
