The Brother Bill Quintet

The Brother Bill Quintet is a Washington, D.C. and Maryland-area jazz quintet specializing in hard-bop, bebop, and soul-jazz from the classic 1950s and 1960s Blue Note Records catalog. Led by keyboardist Tam Sullivan alongside tenor saxophonist Dan Gutwein, trumpeter Hart Pettit, bassist Alec Petkoff, and drums, the group is named after a Louis Armstrong standard and holds a long-standing monthly residency at Hank Dietle's Tavern in Rockville, Maryland.
