The Breaks is a funk trio of guitarist Eddie Roberts, keyboardist Robert Walter and drummer Stanton Moore, rooted in late-1960s organ-trio and boogaloo styles. The group cut its debut album over four days at Marigny Studios in New Orleans and released it on Color Red Records.
