Teitel is guitarist Ari Teitel, a Detroit-raised, New Orleans-based founding member of the two-time Grammy-nominated band The Rumble who has also toured with Dumpstaphunk. He appears as one third of the organ trio DTF alongside drummer Adam Deitch and organist Sam Fribush, whose soul-jazz debut album Another Side of the Sound was recorded to tape at Colorado Sound Studios and released in May 2025.
