T. Graham Brown is an American country singer, born Anthony Graham Brown on October 30, 1954 in Arabi, Georgia, whose four-decade career moves between country, blues, soul and Americana. He began performing in 1973 in the duo Dirk and Tony and later fronted bands including Reo Diamond and T. Graham Brown's Rack of Spam before moving to Nashville in 1982, where he sang advertising jingles for McDonald's, Disneyland and Budweiser among others and wrote for EMI Publishing. He signed with Capitol Records in 1984, and after a debut single that stalled at number 39 he topped the country chart three times, with Hell and High Water and Don't Go to Strangers in 1986 and Darlene in 1988, charting more than twenty singles in all, eight of them in the top ten. After leaving Capitol in 1991 he recorded independently; the 1998 album Wine into Water addressed his struggle with alcoholism and produced one of his signature songs, and he moved further toward gospel and roots material with the Grammy-nominated Forever Changed in 2014. A Grammy nominee and CMA Award winner, he was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry by Vince Gill in May 2024 after more than 300 guest appearances on the show, and he hosts the program Live Wire on SiriusXM's Prime Country channel. His album From Memphis to Muscle Shoals debuted at number one on the iTunes blues albums chart and features guests including Wynonna, Dwight Yoakam, Tanya Tucker and Randy Houser. He continues to tour, marking the fortieth anniversary of his recording career.
