Susto Stringband

Susto Stringband is an Asheville, North Carolina bluegrass project pairing Justin Osborne, frontman of the rock band Susto, with members of the Americana group Holler Choir. The band grew out of Osborne's move to Asheville in 2022 and an open-mic introduction to the local bluegrass circuit, and reworks songs from his catalog alongside new material. Its debut album Susto Stringband: Volume 1 was released in March 2025 on New West Records, with Volume 2 following in May 2026.
