Steve Earle

Steve Earle is an American singer-songwriter born in 1955 and raised near San Antonio, Texas, working across country, roots rock and folk. His 1986 debut album Guitar Town and the 1988 song Copperhead Road established him, and he has since won three Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Folk Album and been inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
