Stanley Plays The Dead is a jazz-inflected Grateful Dead tribute quartet led by guitarist Stanley Jordan, a longtime member of Phil Lesh & Friends lineups. The band pairs Jordan with drummer Kenwood Dennard, bassist Greg Koerner and keyboardist and guitarist Jesse Hiatt, expanding the harmonic structure of the Dead's catalog while keeping the original feel of the music.
