Squirrel Nut Zippers are an American band formed in 1993 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, fusing 1930s-era swing with Delta blues, gypsy jazz, klezmer and other styles. Their 1996 album Hot, carried by the single Hell, was certified gold by the RIAA and made them a signature act of the 1990s swing revival.
