Spencer Marlyn Band is a two-piece act formed in Bend, Oregon by two Midwest transplants. Frontman Spencer Marlyn builds arrangements with a looping rig and effects pedals while percussionist Scottie plays a wide drum setup shaped by West African rhythms, and the duo's sets move between funk, reggae, bluegrass, folk and psychedelia.
