Songs of the Folk is a North Carolina folk and blues duo of A.T. and Lauren Cason, writing original songs shaped by the 1960s Greenwich Village folk revival and Piedmont blues fingerstyle guitar. Their album In the Old Kingdom was recorded in England, after which the pair returned to touring the Southeast.
