Sombr is the stage name of Shane Michael Boose, an American singer-songwriter born in 2005 and raised on the Lower East Side of New York City. Signed to Warner Records, he works in indie and alternative rock with alt-pop leanings; the singles Back to Friends and Undressed became international hits in 2025, the year he released his debut album, I Barely Know Her.
