Solar Garlic

Solar Garlic is a jam band from Denver, Colorado, formed in late 2023 by musicians who met at local jam sessions and were playing small bars by early 2024. The lineup is Davie Pyle and Sabrina Scherma on guitars and vocals, Hazel Brueckman on drums and vocals, Wes Galbraith on bass and vocals, and Melody Weigel on keys. The band folds funk and indie influences into a mix of original material and covers, with most of the members singing, and has built its following on Denver's small-room circuit, playing venues including the Lion's Lair, the Roxy on Broadway and Goosetown Tavern. Its recorded output is still small: the band issued Shining Lights in June 2026 and says it plans to introduce further new material and return to performing through 2026. Recent bookings have moved the group onto larger Denver stages, including Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom and Cervantes' Other Side.
