Soda Stereo is an Argentine rock band formed in Buenos Aires in 1982 by Gustavo Cerati, Zeta Bosio and Charly Alberti. Active through 1997 and revisited in later reunions, the trio moved from new wave and post-punk into alternative rock and became one of the most influential and best-selling acts in Latin American rock.
