Silkroad Ensemble

The Silkroad Ensemble is a Grammy-winning international music collective conceived by cellist Yo-Yo Ma in 1998 and now led by artistic director Rhiannon Giddens. Its musicians come from dozens of nationalities and musical traditions, and the parent organization pairs touring with education and social-impact programs.
