Sidewalk Prophets is a contemporary Christian rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2003 by Dave Frey and Ben McDonald while they were students at Anderson University. The group broke through with its 2009 major-label debut These Simple Truths and won the Dove Award for Best New Artist in 2010.
