Shelby Lee Means

Shelby Lee Means is a bluegrass upright bassist, singer and songwriter based in Charleston, South Carolina, after twelve years in Nashville. She was a member of the GRAMMY-nominated all-women band Della Mae and plays bass and sings with Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway, winning a GRAMMY for their 2023 album City of Gold, and has recorded with Michael Cleveland, Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas.
