Sharon Katz & The Peace Train is a multiracial South African band co-founded by singer and guitarist Sharon Katz in 1992, blending Afro-jazz, rock and folk. The group assembled a 500-voice multiracial choir and toured South Africa by train during the transition from apartheid, and its album Imbizo was nominated for the Grammy for Best World Music Album.
