Shakedown Strings is a Kansas City, Missouri trio that performs the Grateful Dead catalog on acoustic string instruments. The group is Adam Galblum on violin and vocals, Clayton DeLong on acoustic guitar and vocals, and Rick Willoughby on upright bass and vocals, drawing on jazz backgrounds and improvisation to explore the Dead's repertoire.
