Sara Evans is an American country singer born in Boonville, Missouri and raised in New Franklin. She began recording for RCA Records Nashville in 1997 and broke through with the double-platinum album Born to Fly in 2000, going on to place five singles at number one on Billboard's country chart, among them Born to Fly, Suds in the Bucket and A Little Bit Stronger.
