Sandy River Ramblers

The Sandy River Ramblers are a Maine bluegrass band organized in 1982 and active continuously since. Guitarist Stan Keach writes most of the group's material, which is unusual among Maine bands for its focus on original songs about the state; the lineup also includes bassist Julie Davenport, banjoist Bud Godsoe, mandolinist Bobby St. Pierre and fiddler Brendan Hickey. Their albums include Cry of the Loon and Home in the Heart of Maine.
