Sam Grisman Project is an acoustic ensemble led by bassist Sam Grisman, son of mandolinist David Grisman, built around the Grateful Dawg repertoire David Grisman recorded with Jerry Garcia alongside original material. The group works with a rotating cast of acoustic players, and guests have included Peter Rowan, David Grisman and Billy Strings.
