Sam Fribush

Sam Fribush is an American Hammond organ player and bandleader whose work joins soul jazz to funk and hip-hop-informed production, citing organists such as Ronnie Foster and Dr. Lonnie Smith. He leads the Sam Fribush Trio, records as Fonville x Fribush with Morgan Burrs, and plays in DTF with Adam Deitch and Ari Teitel. His debut was a two-volume 2021 set, Riverboat (Vol. I) and The Root (Vol. II), produced by Charlie Hunter.
