Rufus Wainwright

Rufus Wainwright is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter and composer, born in 1973 in Rhinebeck, New York and raised largely in Montreal. The son of folk musicians Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle, he is known for baroque pop albums including Poses (2001), Want One (2003) and Unfollow the Rules (2020), and he has also composed the operas Prima Donna and Hadrian.
