Ricky Skaggs

Ricky Skaggs is an American bluegrass and neotraditional country musician born in 1954 in Cordell, Kentucky, who plays mandolin, fiddle, guitar and banjo and leads the band Kentucky Thunder. He became the youngest member inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1982, has recorded for labels including Epic, Sugar Hill and Rounder, and was inducted into both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2018.
