RCA & The Radicals

RCA & The Radicals is a seven-piece funk band from Spokane, Washington, fronted by singer and guitarist Riley Anderson, who performs as RCA. Anderson grew up in the Spokane area, started playing guitar at ten and sang in church, then moved to Nashville to study worship music before returning home to work as a musician; he released the album Regular People under the RCA name in 2023. With The Radicals he plays funk and rhythm and blues arranged for a full band, citing James Brown, Michael Jackson, Vulfpeck and Lawrence as reference points. The band has released the single Lakeshore Drive, which also gave its name to a touring run, and has recorded a session for KSPS PBS's Inland Sessions. It performs regularly around the Inland Northwest, including Zola and other Spokane rooms, the summer concert series at Arbor Crest Wine Cellars, and The Hive in Sandpoint, Idaho, and builds its sets around getting a room dancing.
