Ramón Ayala is a Mexican accordionist, singer and songwriter from Monterrey, Nuevo León, widely known as the King of the Accordion. A central figure in norteño music since the 1960s, he first came to prominence with Los Relámpagos del Norte and has since led Ramón Ayala y Sus Bravos del Norte, recording dozens of albums and winning four Grammy Awards.
