Ralph Stanley II is a traditional bluegrass singer and guitarist who fronts The Clinch Mountain Boys, the band led by his father, the late banjo player Dr. Ralph Stanley. He began performing professionally in the mid-1990s, shares a Grammy Award from 2002, and has released six solo albums plus the duet record Side by Side with his father. His recent releases include Glendale Train and Back to Virginia.
