phoffman is a singer, songwriter and mandolin player who is a member of the Americana band Greensky Bluegrass. Raised in Muskegon, Michigan, he studied English literature in Kalamazoo, where Greensky Bluegrass formed, and he also tours as a solo artist. He is featured, alongside Greensky Bluegrass, on Railroad Earth's 2026 single Everything Keeps Changin'.
