Paul Wall is a Houston hip hop artist, born Paul Slayton in 1981, who came up through the city's Swishahouse label alongside Chamillionaire. His major-label debut The Peoples Champ (2005) reached number one on the Billboard 200, and he was featured on Nelly's Grammy-nominated single Grillz.
