Parker Barrow
rock · blues · americana
Parker Barrow is a Nashville-based blues and Southern rock band led by vocalist and guitarist Megan Kane and drummer Dylan Turner, who took the name from the outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, a reference the band frames as being about devotion and constant motion rather than crime. The two met in 2019, when Turner, mid-tour and suddenly without a singer, asked Kane to finish an East Coast run with him; they have worked and travelled together since, spending the band's early years living in an RV without heat or air conditioning. The full lineup adds Alex Bender on guitar, who also serves as the band's musical director, Will Tipton on guitar, Kyle Priber on bass and Eric Safka on keys. The sound is blues-inflected Southern rock and roll, with Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Black Crowes and Tedeschi Trucks Band among the touchstones the band names. Parker Barrow released the album Jukebox Gypsies and the single Blinded, which has an accompanying video, and issued the EP Hold the Mash on July 17, 2026.
