Neighbor is a jam band formed in 2019 by longtime friends Richard James and Lyle Brewer, drawing on Americana, funk, rock, jazz and soul. The current lineup is Richard James on vocals and keys, Dan Kelly on bass, Dean Johnston on drums and Rob Compa on guitar, who joined in 2025. The band is known for a large song catalog and extended live improvisation.
