Mystic Bowie's Talking Dreads is a reggae band that reworks the Talking Heads catalog as roots reggae, replacing the originals' post-punk arrangements with Caribbean one-drop rhythms. It is fronted by Mystic Bowie, a longtime vocalist with Tom Tom Club, the side project of Talking Heads members Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz; Frantz has publicly endorsed the project.
