Mike Thornton & The Midnight Quartet

Mike Thornton & The Midnight Quartet is a jazz ensemble fronted by American jazz vocalist, actor, and director Mike Thornton (a 24-year lead performer with the political satire troupe The Capitol Steps). Trained in voice and theater at the Hartt School of Music, Thornton delivers sophisticated, hard-swinging jazz standards, blues, and Great American Songbook classics. He is a resident performer at the Chautauqua Institution in Western New York, featured at the Roe Green Theater Center and the Taste of Chautauqua.
