Mike Mitchell is an American contemporary bluegrass fiddler, singer, songwriter, and educator based in Floyd, Virginia. Recording for Mountain Fever Records and founder of the Floyd Music School, Mitchell is celebrated for intricate fiddling and rich vocal storytelling on albums including Small Town (which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Bluegrass Album chart) and Fathers & Sons (2023). Leading the Mike Mitchell Band, he performs across premier bluegrass festivals and historic listening rooms nationwide.
