Michael Prewitt

Michael Prewitt is a bluegrass mandolinist and singer-songwriter from the Cumberland Mountain foothills of southeastern Kentucky. He toured for several years with Special Consensus and was twice nominated for the IBMA Momentum Instrumentalist award. In 2024 he released the instrumental set The Peerless Mountain Sessions and the album Something He Can Handle, and he now performs solo and with his band CrunchGrass Supreme.
